1 in 8 U.S. women are at risk of developing breast cancer.
 1 in 28 of these women are at risk of dying from breast cancer.

Over 77% of women are not diagnosed with breast cancer before the age of 50.  At this stage, breast cancer may not be as curable as with earlier detection.  Although 97% of women diagnosed with breast cancer survive five years, up from about 70% in the 1940's, misdiagnosis or failure to diagnose may have severe consequences.  Please get tested for breast cancer. 

The incidence of breast cancer in North America and Western Europe is 6 to 10 times higher than in Japan and most parts of Asia and Africa.
